In 2019 we looked back on ten common years as Trio Alba, and since our beginning was marked by Franz Schubert and his famous Trio in E-flat major, we celebrated the event during the whole year with a concert tour centering around this masterpiece. The first concert took place in January, within the series of the “Meister- und Kammerkonzerte” at Innsbruck. Later on we performed at Konzerthaus Wien, at Heidelberger Frühling, at Bern and Sion in Switzerland, at the Summer Festival of Grafenegg, and finally at Meran Festival in Southern Tirol. Since, however, we had in the course of ten years studied other works as well, we also gave concerts in Belgium, the Netherlands, Columbia, and in Berlin with other programmes. We concluded the year at Graz, our Alba-starting-point. Within the decade under review we performed in one concert piano trios from 224 years of piano trio writing, four of them as premieres.
